What’s a zine?
A zine is an art book that contains illustrations from various artists surrounding a topic of choice! Our zine will be about all kinds of cartoons from the 80’s – 2000’s!

Is this physical or digital zine?
This will be a physical zine printed and sent to you!

What are the specs for the physical copy?
The physical zine will be an A4 sized book (8.3 x 11.7 in) and will be a perfect bound book.

How many artists will be in the zine?
There will be 130 artists in our zine! You can check them out here!
​
Where will the money be donated?
This is a charity zine! The money will be used for production, and the rest of the proceeds will go to The Okra Project!

Who’s the cat in your icon and graphics?
That’s out mascot Hugo the Cat! He was designed by our moderator John, aka @johnnygoransson on Twitter!
ARTIST FAQ
What can I draw?
The main theme of the zine centers around any children’s show from the 80’s-2000’s. Based on your designated cartoon, you can draw this any way you want, especially in your style! Whether it be traditional, 3D modeling, or any other non-2D digital style of art! Just make sure it’s a high quality scan or render!

What will the artists be compensated for participating?
All artists who finished their piece will receive a full bundle of the zine (physical zine including all merch)! artist will pay for what they can for shipping,

Can artists get an additional copy if they want?
All artists will get one free copy already, and if they want to receive an extra copy, they can purchase one through preorders! Shipping cost will be discretionary.

Can artists post a preview of their piece?
Artists are allowed to post a preview of the piece once the mods give their word! They can tag us in the post as well! Please do not upload the finished piece until all orders have been shipped out.

Can artist use their pieces/sell their art after the project ends?
Once the project ends, all artist own their rights to their piece and can use it however they want!
